What Even Endometriosis Advocate Lena Dunham May Not Know About Endo And Fertility

Truthfully, Lena Dunham is a superhero for women. I love that she’s uses her celebrity to raise awareness about something that isn’t very sexy or appealing. My hat is off to you, Lena! Most women do not have the straight dope on what can impact and improve Endometriosis symptoms and she really inspires me to keep sharing what I know, so that women won’t have to continue to suffer with Endometriosis pain and infertility.

There are many possible causes for endometriosis, but what most people aren’t taking into consideration is the good data that shows there is a strong autoimmune component. That is critical for women to know because having one autoimmune disease increases your chances of developing another one later on. Does this mean you are definitely going to get Lupus or Rheumatoid arthritis? Not necessarily, but if you don’t get serious about getting as healthy as possible you may have an increased chance of adding another chronic condition to your list of challenges.  Who wants that? Not me. As someone who was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis when I was 20, I know a thing or two about autoimmunity. What I know is that I went from being a very sick young girl who walked with a cane, to being a healthy, happy woman who surfs all over the world now at almost 50. There is no magic pill for this. I’ve spent the past 20 years working with over 7,000 women (and myself) figuring out how to get women healthier than their diseases.

Conceivable Helps Women Get Pregnant,
See How

You have to get your body working with you instead of against you. Understanding what causes your Endometriosis is the first step to a better life, and better fertility.

Our bodies are resilient, but they’re also more delicate than we think.  They can only put up with bad diets, poor sleep, too much drinking, exposure to plastics and environmental factors, and stress for so long before their ability to function starts to weaken. This doesn’t typically happen overnight. These are incremental changes that show up in our energy levels, digestion, hormone regulation, menstrual cycles and overall health in ways that are so small that we don’t often notice the hole we are going down until we get really sick or start having serious problems with our cycles.

With endometriosis, your body stops being able to recognize the difference between your reproductive system and some kind of pathological organism it needs to destroy to keep you healthy. This is bad. It means that anytime you do something that would normally fire up your immune system to go gangbusters to protect you, your “protector” is now attacking you. To add fuel to the fire of this problem, these immune reactions can also impact your fertility as there needs to be precise immune modulation during pregnancy so your body doesn’t mistakenly reject your partners “foreign” sperm.

Learn How Conceivable Improves Fertility

ENDOMETRIOSIS IS VERY EFFECTIVELY MANAGED NATURALLY WITH THE RIGHT HELP, BUT YOU WILL NEED A COMPREHENSIVE PLAN AND A WAY TO MEASURE YOUR PROGRESS.

The good news is that is if you can find someone who can help you analyze your lifestyle and diet then figure out the main issues in your menstrual cycle, and make a plan to holistically work on all of it in a systematic way all of this can get exponentially better! Severe endometriosis does not do well in a super healthy body. Trust me. I did it with myself and thousands of women after that. Painful periods, heavy periods, and pain not associated with your cycle get get significantly better. Again, it isn’t magic. It isn’t quick, and it takes your commitment and effort, but you can significantly change your health for today and for the rest of your life. This is what I want Lena Dunham and the 1 in 10 women who suffer the excruciating physical pain of Endometriosis and the emotional pain of infertility caused by this disease to know.

This is what we do at Conceivable. We are so passionate about helping women to take back their lives that we taught our algorithms how to design customized programs for women who need relief. We think great health and happy periods should be accessible and affordable for all women, and we are so proud to be a part of that movement. Conceivable was designed for women who are trying to conceive, but if you have Endometriosis it can help you get it under control now, whether you are ready for a baby or not. You don’t have to endure the pain of Endometriosis; we can show you how to to conquer it.
